Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard Jr. is a crook. Plain and simple. He shows a still picture, taken from a video (no one other than him has seen the full video) showing that Officer Garrett Rolfe, who is charged with Brooks's murder, as possibly kicking Brooks after he'd been shot and was down. The photo clearly shows that's not the case. His body is in the wrong position and his arms and legs are out of sync from what it would need to be to be kicking someone. Plus, Officer Garrett Rolfe is already past Brooks's body. His foot would never actually hit Brooks if that was even a kick as alleged.
DA Howard is looking to get sympathy votes for re-election, even while he's under investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations for allegedly funneling $140,000 into his own salary.
The image of Garrett Rolfe supposedly kicking Brooks is intentionally out of focus and a still taken from a cellphone video. Where is the rest of the video DA Howard? Why won't you show the video?
Now, some non-mainstream news outlets are showing additional body cam footage which shows officer Garrett Rolfe performing life saving measures before the ambulance arrives and asking, "Mr. Brooks, stay with me..."
Dirty tricks by a black DA looking for re-election. Yes, I am using his color and race because he's giving both a bad name by his actions. Plus, it wouldn't be the 1st time a black Atlanta officially was lying and crooked.
From Howard's own words as part of his election campaign, "I have prosecuted and put away more cops than any other DA in the country." Wow, great metric to be judged by. I wonder how many of those cases will now be overturned?
