The Supreme Court on Friday struck down Trump's tariffs. In a 6-3 decision (170-pages), the court ruled that Trump's use of the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) - which constitute about half of the tariffs we've seen under Trump - was not lawful. Kavanaugh, Thomas and Alito dissented.

State Rep. Sarah Keitt was especially well-suited to defend these rights. She has a daughter who is contemplating moving to Texas, and Keitt keeps warning her, "careful where you go, things are not like they are in Connecticut." She also has "a 20-year-old transgender non-binary child" and claims "the gender-affirming care that they have received was life saving."
