I'm confused.

The senate intelligence committee, in 2018, knew there were problems with the FBI's testimony on the Steele dossier, yet did nothing, absolutely ZERO about it, and let midterm elections go by, resulting in the house being placed into democrat control, on what they knew at that time, was a lie.

A huge lie. 

It was an attempted coup to overthrow a sitting president, and at that time, the committee was primarily republican in it's makeup.  

How the hell did this happen? 

How did republicans, knowing, with proof, that the whole Russia collusion thing was a hoax and a lie, not tell the American people and let the democratic party take the house in 2018's midterm elections based on lie after lie after lie? 

Again, how they hell did that happen?

It's because these RINO republicans are part of the deep state.  Part of the old "Tried and True" political system, where politicians making $175k per year, end up multi-millionaires by the time they have 8 or more years in office, selling their vote to the highest bidder.

We need political reform.

One - house and senate politicians should be limited to the same 8 years as the president.  No more career politicians.  

Get rid of the 2 year terms in the house and the 6 year term in the senate.  Both house and senate are 4 year terms and elections are staggered, like the Olympics.  

Two - members for the house and the senate should not all be lawyers and such.  We need laymen to fill those jobs as part of their civic duty, sort of like jury duty.  You serve your term, then go back to your regular job.

Doctors and lawyers are nice, but we need mechanics, bakers, I.T. consultants, accountants, business owners, people from all walks of life.

Three - no more multi-million dollar book deals for politicians.  You are serving your country - that in itself should be honor enough.

Four - no more life long benefits.  When your term is done, you get 18 months COBRA and that's it.

No pension, no medical insurance, no benefits once out of office.

Five -  No more bribes from lobbyists.  

That one is self-explanatory.
