The mask Debate.
Let me put it to rest for you.
The paper masks, the cloth masks – They do NOTHING to stop ANY virus.
I was in the Navy for a decade, and onboard our military ships, we are all trained in NBC (Nuclear, Biological and Chemical) warfare and the defense against all three.
Military issue gas-masks work – with proper training, with the proper filter and a full airtight seal against your skin. No exceptions.
Mustaches and beards? No good – Gas-masks won’t seal properly.
Reusing the same gas mask filter? No good – filters get clogged.
Most filters are good for a max of 30 minutes of exposure in the environment they were designed for, (N, B, or C)
Those paper masks and cloth masks?
Do not seal airtight against your skin – even if they did, none of you are probably shaving anyway – so you can guess the end result – you’re exposed.
These worthless masks do not filter down to the micron level required to filter out the virus – you’re exposed.
Even if they did seal airtight and did filter out the virus, just about everyone keeps wearing the same mask without changing it out or washing it. Again, you’re exposed.
All the scientific data collected and analyzed by multiple labs, schools and other entities, show the same result, masks do little to nothing to stop COVID.

It concluded, “We did not find evidence that surgical-type face masks are effective in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza transmission, either when worn by infected persons (source control) or by persons in the general community to reduce their susceptibility.”
Oh, and they said this in the same article:
“…. we did not find evidence of a major effect of hand hygiene on laboratory-confirmed influenza virus transmission…”
So go ahead, keep believing that those paper and cloth masks you keep putting on each day like a sheep actually work.
The only truth I can report, is that China is getting rich on face mask and hand sanitizer sales.
