I’m going to stop you right there with all of this “Ukraine good, Russia bad!” rhetoric.
Look, I don't hold water for either country, nor Putin, nor Zelenskyy.
Here is what I know to be true.
In 1972, the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) treaty was signed by 187 countries. No gain of function beyond a certain point was allowed. Period.
Fast forward to 2022, Russia invades Ukraine, why?
10 days prior to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the US ambassador to Ukraine, Victoria Nuland, send an unencrypted cable to all US (and other countries) bioweapons labs in Ukraine, stating, “BURN EVERYTHING! RUSSIA IS COMING!”
Why?
Well, Ukraine did not exist in 1972, so it was not part of the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) treaty.
Why does that matter?
It cannot be held to account if it breaches the terms of that agreement since it was not a signatory to it.
So, it sold itself out to the USA, France, UK, Germany, Australia and many other countries who then built bioweapons labs in their country for cash donations to Ukraine.
So why did Russia invade?
Russia went to the UN (United Nations of Idiots) and provided proof that these labs, using Ukraine’s Asoz Brigade (elite soldiers with Nazi overtones), experimented on ethnic Russians who got left behind on the Ukraine side when it split from Russia, with said bioweapons.
Eventually, Russia asserted that not only were they experimenting with those ethnic Russians in Ukraine, but that this testing crossed over the border into Russia.
The UN? Sat silent and refused to hear Russia’s claim.
Russia then invaded Ukraine. Even with Victoria Nuland’s cable message warning the labs, they did not fully comply before Russia invaded.
Russia, in turn, captured a lot of documents and bio material, proving their claim.
Once again, Russia went to the UN with all of this actual physical proof, demanding sanctions against Ukraine. During the first few months of the invasion, Russian officials amplified the allegations and, having compiled a dossier that eventually exceeded 300 pages, took them to the United Nations Security Council on three occasions between March and the end of May 2022.
